Yet you look at a standard bookstore in Canada or the United States and you read through most books and you can come to a pretty fair conclusion; either Conservatives don't exist, or they are all evil, or they simply are incapable of reading. I'm not talking about the political books necessarily (though the Conservative ones are usually heavily outnumbered by the Liberal books)...

You haven't been to a Costco lately, although I don't know if you have them in Canada.  The hardcover book aisle is usually chock full of the latest conservative drivel warning people about the evils of Democrats and/or Liberals.  Maybe it's just the publishing schedule, but conservative books get a ton of play at Costco along with a pretty robust religious section.

She's a hoot. Total goofball - but in that really good way that only hot girls
can pull off.

In a Tea Leone way?

That's exactly the case at my nearest Costco, in Barrie, Ontario, Matt.

Other than Deep Impact, where I enjoyed her performance very much, but
didn't find her 'hot', I have no exposure to Tea Leoni.

I didn't know the fiction section was divided up into liberal/conservative sections?

And I agree wioth most of the above, if it will sell, it's on the shelves, if it won't it's recycled, if it gets that far.

Totally, completely unrelated, but Costco by us has the best meat, they have
great steaks and rib roasts!

Its obscene how cheap their meat is. I love rib roast. A rib roast with
mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy is heaven.

Dudes, I have a costco membership, but I've only gone once* - it's such a pain - it's insanely crowded, it closes early (hard for a night owl like me) and the lines are ri--god-damned-diculous.

You guys got any secrets?  Special time of the day to go? Shopping tips?

Oh, plus?  One year, at my Masonic Lodge, for the holidays, one of the brothers went to Costco (price tag still on book) and bought us all copies of Rush Limbaugh's book.

*er - since I got this membership as an adult - I used to go with my grandma all the time when she was around, and a former room-mate worked there, so I went then, too...

You're welcome at our place for dinner any time Geoff. Roast with mashed,
beans and gravy is one of my favourites.
