Unfortunately, in my opinion, Obama has intelligence but not wisdom.

*************

And a woman who believes you can pray the gay away has neither.

There's a nice example of one of your twists.  Please provide a link to where Palin said you can pray the gay away.  Give me a direct quote and link.

I think Obama will shift to the left of his current position if he's elected.

Good Lord, is there any farther left? If you far enough left, are you on the right again?

I watched the Biden/Palin debate, and here's a thought that crossed my mind. Yes Biden won, expected it. But Biden's been doing this forever, and Palin's been tossed into this tempest 5 or so weeks, give or take. What I got after this debate was this; She's a real quick study. Say what you will, the girl's sharp as a tac. I think the V.P. spot's a good place for her to learn, and I'm nowhere near as worried about McCain keeling over at the first loud noise as everyone else is.

I think once he is President and doesn't have to worry about the party line to get elected, you'll see old McCain, not the McCain that needed to give in a bit to get the nomination and support.

I have to strongly agree with this as well. I think once he gets in, he'll get to business.

Here's a wishful thought on my part. I truly wish presidents would go into their first term and get to what they said they'd do, not worry immediately about who they piss off before their second term.

But his platform isn't all that different from Hilary's, whom you said you supported (IIRC). What's your real problem with him?

Check out THIS article from the Chicago Sun Times regarding "pray away the gay."

I think a more disturbing paragraph is further below, where she tried to stop same-sex partners from receiving equal benefits in the workplace.  Only after it was explained to her that that stance was unconstitutional did she relent.

Hard to imagine her being gay-friendly in a presidential administration.

Wait wait wait...  What could this mean? (http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/221903.php)

"The plantiffs and Alaskans will suffer irreparable harm" if the Palin investigation results are released on schdeule Oct 10.  So...

Ok, on one hand, perhpas that's just desperate legal hyperboyle designed, much like what one does on a resume, to make it pop and zing with powerful verbs.  But..  or...

Like - what could the results mean?  The "Alaskans" will be harmed?  Like... so, if the results are against her, and thus she loses the national election, and stays in office as Gov, the people of Alaska will be worse off?  Is that what they're saying?

So many possibilities.... All eyes are glued on October 10th!

I just said a few posts back.  His voting record (not just int he Senate) is more liberal.  Hillary is a known quantity.  Obama has put on a less liberal mask recently to get elected (just as McCain has put on a more conservative one).  Once in office, as I said, they'll both shift left.  McCain, back to being moderate and Obama just to the left of the moon.  He's not Hillary.  I liked Hillary and I liked that she could be a bitch.  With Obama, I just don't like him or his wife.

This is a common theme on the FARK message boards - to have these four photos with corresponding pictures - most are funny, but this one had a real JBF vibe, so...

Once again - anyone who thinks Obama is a bastion of the Big Bad Left would pee themselves until dust came out if they ever saw a real leftist.  They're virtually extinct in this country.  Attempts to breed Kucinich have been enthusiastic but unsuccessful.
