"Once in office, as I said, they'll both shift left.  McCain, back to being moderate and Obama just to the left of the moon."

---
How do you know this?

What kind of question is that?  That's my opinion.  I "know" it the same way anyone else with an opinion "knows" something.  People have to bend and sway to get elected.  There isn't a politician out there who doesn't gear what they say toward their audience.

Obama's endorsement of Dorothy Tillman, for example, shows how liberal he truly is and if elected, he'll be able to take off his less liberal mask.

Also, Obama denounced Wright. Palin would never do such a thing.

Only after he was forced to.  Palin's preacher is a harmless crackpot.  Wright is in no way harmless.  Obama was more than happy to listen to Wright for 20 years and expose his children to that kind of man.

Presidents tend to become more conservative. I think the British have a saying "regardless of who wins, the government always takes over." How do you know Obama wouldn't be a more conservative President?

I think you hold a deep bias against the man for no substantive reason.

McCain voted for Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

So did 90% of the Senate including Joe Biden. It was the signed by BIll Clinton.

*************

Biden did not vote for it.

In fact the majority of U.S. senators who voted against it were Dems.

What danger does he pose?

After checking further there was a second vote and it passed overwhelmingly with both Dem and Rep vote. Including Biden. I'm not sure what the differences were between the first and second versions of the bill that caused the massive shift in Dems voting for it.

Jodi:

"Thomas Wood please don't tell me, that you are blaming
Barack and the Congressional Black Caucus for the
financial mess we are in, are you? Pretty racist video
ya got there, to be honest it looks like klan
propaganda"

How is this linking race to anything? Don't link
comments you see people posting to the video. It is what
it is. You can even ignore the text included in the
video and just take the C-Span footage for what it is.
The democrats were nose deep with Fannie Mae and blocked
EVERY attempt to stop what was obviously a huge problem.
Playing the race card is part of what got us into this
mess.

September 30, 1999 edition of the New York Times.

In a move that could help increase home ownership rates
among minorities and low-income consumers, the Fannie
Mae Corporation is easing the credit requirements on
loans that it will purchase from banks and other
lenders.

The action, which will begin as a pilot program
involving 24 banks in 15 markets -- including the New
York metropolitan region -- will encourage those banks
to extend home mortgages to individuals whose credit is
generally not good enough to qualify for conventional
loans. Fannie Mae officials say they hope to make it a
nationwide program by next spring.

Fannie Mae, the nation's biggest underwriter of home
mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the
Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among
low and moderate income people and felt pressure from
stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in
profits.

This is stuff I very much doubt you will see the
major news networks covering before the election. They
are covering for Obama all the way. While if the roles
were reversed it would be all over the headlines. They
jumped all over Palin and tried to leave no stone
unturned, yet their guy gets a free ride
