No, I'd read the rule, Matt.  I simply forgot to snip that portion when I included the earlier post.  My thanks for the edit.

Darn that Steven Biko and his co-opting.

Did he have to show the board his financing and get their approval before co-opting?

How is Palin's sweetheart relationship with the Alaska Independence Party getting so little play, especially as she attacks Obama's patriotism?  I thought the media was in the tank for Obama?

I said the exact same thing why isn't someone pointing this out. She supported this group and her husband was a member

They want to become a separate and Independent Nation.

here is her video supporting their convention

Lets see, she loved America soooo much she wanted to leave the Union. Boy that's pretty Mavericky. LOL

It was pied-à-terre, Geoff.  The board of managers failed to exercise their right of first-refusal.

I wonder how many states will now start asking for bailouts?  California and Mass. have already been rumored to "need loans" despite the bailout.

And this is a bad thing, how?  Seriously, I will pack her bags.  I'll even give her a pocket copy of the constitution!

But Geoff they want to take their oil with them, she can go, just not the oil. Can you imagine the damage she could do if she had the same power as the Saudi's.  LOL

"I wonder how many states will now start asking for bailouts?  California and Mass. have already been rumored to "need loans" despite the bailout. "

Every state governor/legislature is going to want to try to capitalize on the notion of a possible windfall to alleviate their own internal policy shortcomings.  In the case of California and Massachusetts, the absurdity is made apparent by their decades of mismanagement and socialization of everything under the sun.  California's is a particularly laughable request.

I'm not seeing the big deal when it says:

Contrary to initial reports, Vice-President candidate Governor Sarah Palin was never a member of our party. We stand corrected. We issued a press release today. It is posted here to those members of the media who did not recieve it.

Todd Palin was registered as a member but never participated in any party activities aside from attending a convention in Wasilla at one time.

Edited to bold the quote
