Scott, if Obama had Palin's connections (spouse a member, addressed their convention) to an Illinois Independence Party, you'd be screaming it from the rooftops.

Hmm. I sense another patented Scott Richards denial coming up in
response to that, Kevin.

Well, I hope the next spoon-feeding has more nutrition than the last one.

Quite so. (But don't suggest anything about his maturity level in return.
One way street there, I'm afraid.)

But kudos to you for trying, anyway.

So... here's a bizarre twist... just read a story on FARK about how country songwriter Gretchen Peters is unhappy that Palin is using her song "Independence Day" at Palin's events, so she's donating all the royalty payments to Planned Parenthood in Palin's name.

Bravo to that.

But then, reading deeper into the story - the song in question (I know screw-all about Country music) is the song that Sean Hannity uses on his radio show - and that the song isn't about "letting freedom ring", but rather about an abused wife shooting her husband - and that Peters donates her royalty payments from the Hannity show to the ACLU and Moveon.org.

Woah.

So... considering that Hannity uses that song every day... he's funding the hell out of the ACLU and Moveon.org.  And his theme song is about some woman shooting her drunken husband.

What a trippy news day.  I see the world differently now.

Among other things - I never thought it possible that Hannity could be proved to be more of an idiot, but... well... there you go.

I do like that she started using the song right around the time she started parrotting Hannity's insane rants about Obama palling around with terrorists.  Why, she's like a female Sean Hannity!

Obama has got it nailed and McCain's desperation is evident.  I wonder if this is going to turn into a landslide?

Edgy? Coping with an economic panic attack

Some good stuff there.

Not really.

It's the same reason I don't scream about Obama and reperations.  I think his association and endorsement of Dorothy Tillman shows bad judgement but it doesn't mean Obama himself is for it even though it's what she's known for.

I wondered if you'd comment on your lack of reading/memory skills or not.  After all, I had answered exactly what you asked prior to you asking it 3 times.

That's what's so pathetic; that you think you've answered it at all.  That you think a megachurch in the middle of Chicago is/was poised to erupt in violence is laughable.

No, what's laughable is that you have to grasp at straws to turn things around because you made a mistake.
