I find it more reassuring than disturbing. That was before the debate. She held her own in the debate. She was able to stand toe to toe, after only 5 weeks, with Joe Biden who's been doing this for more than 3 decades. She's sharp and a quick study. I have no doubt she would be fully prepared to be President in less than 6 months and 3 of those months would be before she even officially became VP in January.
I don't really want her to be President, but have no doubt that she would be fully qualified in very short order. I wouldn't even be surprised to see her at the top of the ticket in 2012 if Obama wins.

Scott, are you serious?
If you had a BIG company, she would be the one you would give the presidency?
Do you agree with the allegations that Obama is involved with Terrorists? This is the right way to do things? Or do you think that no matter the way, just the objective?
Please, watch the movie 13 days and picture her and the WW3, or do you think that "hockey mama" would have negotiated the pacific solution?
I think John McCain blew his chances when he choose her as running mate. Or are you of opinion that there were ANY republican more qualified than her to be Vice President? please...

Geoff pretty funny stuff.
Scott why would you want a woman that hates America so much that she supports a group that wants to leave the United States?
Hell her husband loved them enough, he has a membership card.
Scary stuff

He cannot be serious about that. I believe he is just making fun of us.
If someone thinks that DEREGULATION is the answer, please, watch this:
Voters should know the facts about John McCain's poor judgment --
judgment that has twice placed him on the wrong side of history.

Ummm. Yes. Have you heard of William Ayres? What about Bernadine Dohrn? If you don't know those names, look them up. So yes, Obama has been involved with known terrorists.
Now do I think Obama is a terrorist? Of course not. But his involvement with known terrorists is fact, though the connection is exaggerated.

For the same reason that you'd want a known illegal drug user and terrorist associate to be President. See Jodi, when you stretch the truth to make a point it can go both ways.
I'm guessing you missed this a couple of pages back?

Contrary to initial reports, Vice-President candidate Governor Sarah Palin was never a member of our party. We stand corrected. We issued a press release today. It is posted here to those members of the media who did not recieve it.
Todd Palin was registered as a member but never
participated in any party activities aside from attending a convention
in Wasilla at one time.

Scott, I am glad to hear that you understand that the connection is exaggerated.
I mean, I am not here taking sides, I am an internal auditor, and I have a natural tendency to analyse facts.
I've read about William Ayres, and about the limited connection between him and Obama, bring that up is just to misleade people's interpretations about that and it just feels wrong to me.
And that could amaze you, but the current Chief Minister of the Civil House (something like the secretary of State) is a woman called Dilma Roussef, a former terrorist (and she is a front runner for her party's nomination to run for the presidency in 2010), and the guy in that important role had even participated in a kidnap of a US ambassador during the military government in Brazil. I am not saying that people can change, but who would thought of that?

The allegations of terrorists is a sign of desperation coming from McCain's sinking ship.
What do you call attacking Iraq? Bringing freedom to Iraq? How about an embargo of that nation that has killed 100s of 1000s? Some might call it terrorism.
Obama might be many things but a terrorist? Hardly.
The GOP has lost and now Soros will run the show and it won't solve a thing.

Well, if association with terrorists were a disqualifier for the job of President
you'd never have had any president named Bush...

Neo-liberalism in South America destroyed many of its economies. Americans don't usually know what that phrase (neo-liberalism) means. The IMF conditionalities destroyed these nations (along with the corrupt dictators that imposed the conditionalities).
It isn't about some bad housing loans. That's a laugh. A joke. Something for the "rubes" get it?
It isn't even about derivatives per se (in whatever form they were used, or said to be used). Derivatives were used to bring life to something that was dead and now they are unwinding. The financial geniuses that used them are fools.
I am amused at Larry Kudlow now calling for certain regulation. The house is burning down Larry and your call is like tossing a bucket of water on the fire.
Obama had better get with it because when he becomes president he has a lot to do.
