I was watching the news this morning and they had a political expert on, saying that McCain could not run on the issues, because when he did, it hurt him, so he is going negative and attack Obama on "character issues".

All the character assassination politics is insulting and dangerous, with articles like the ones I posted above show, people are dying because we have more important issues to worry about.

And Scott I already wrote Obama's campaign and expressed my hope that he stay on issues. And from this point forward, if talking about McCain I will only address issues that are upsetting in my eyes, if I can not find 2 solid sources to provide links to what I am saying, I won't post it.

"There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't support other women."
-- Sarah Palin, misquoting Madeleine Albright

"Though I am flattered that Governor Palin has chosen to cite me as a source of wisdom, what I said had nothing to do with politics. This is yet another example of McCain and Palin distorting the truth, and all the more reason to remember that this campaign is not about gender, it is about which candidate has an agenda that will improve the lives of all Americans, including women. The truth is, if you care about the status of women in our society and in our troubled economy, the best choice by far is Obama-Biden."
          -- Albright's response

But... Noonan was already caught on-mic and unaware declaring Palin unqualified and her selection as political bullsh*t. So now she is full of sh*t too.

Neither Clinton nor Dubya can be president again.

Correct.  They've both served 2 full terms so couldn't be President again, well, short of changing the law.

I don't think it's going to happen.  Obama is going to mudsling as well.  I'm betting the debate tonight will get quite dirty with both sides exaggerating through their teeth.

So unfounded opinions from a known right winger have more credence with you than a video of Palin addressing the Alaskan Independence convention and her husband being a member. Oh, I forgot he never went to a meeting so it doesn't count.

They both attended the AIP convention once, William, but that doesn't count
either.

What was it that Forrest Gump used to say? No, not the one about
chocolates; the one about something is as something does...

Well, at least you realized the exaggeration in it.

Read David Brooks today and forget about Charles Keating and William Ayers.
