There is a HUGE difference between not liking someone and hating someone.
----------
Certainly a difference, but not a huge one. Saying you don't like someone running for office, as well as his wife, is definitely indicative of animosity.
**********
Talk about grasping at straws.
-----------
No, to talk about grasping at straws would be to revisit your insistence that Jeremiah Wright is a dangerous man. Or that Obama "pals around" with terrorists.

Nice way to try to turn things around. I think what you meant to say was that you didn't actually read what I wrote and you came across looking foolish.

They're both elitist and she comes across as insincere
So you think they talk down to people? Because it came across as if they were speaking to me at my level.
So, I'll just let there be an akward pause in the air as we figure that one out.
And then insincere? So... what would make them more sincere? If they said "My friends" in that creepy tone that McCain uses? Or if they acted like a back-woods moron and threw out catchphrases like Palin does?
Full Disclosure: I don't want the President of the United States of America to be some catch-phrase sprewing moron. I want them to be intellegent, and wise, and thoughtfull. I want them to be someone I can look up to, not sneer down at.
Having said that, am I an "elitist"? And if so, what does that make those who want a moron in office? What's the word for that?

Nice tactic Kevin. You were grasping at straws and try to deflect the argument in another direction.

If anything happens to Obama from now to election day, I'd blame McCain and Palin. To their moron followers they are making Obama a terrorist by association.

Obama supporters?
Sorry Mike, but you left yourself way too open for that one. :P

Joe, if I didn't know better, it almost sounds like you wanted something to happen to him just so you could point fingers.

No, there is a HUGE difference between hating someone and being indifferent to someone. There is a difference, only not a huge one, between hating someone and not liking someone.
And cut out the "grasping at straws", "nice tactic", "comedy gold" "I already said" shit. You HAVE substance, Scott - you disagree with many of Obama's policies. But you apparently don't know how to keep the discussion there (or, FINE, if you want to go on the defensive, you don't know how to steer the discussion there), and so you say ludicrous things like Wright-Ayers-elitist-media instead. If you want to be above such things, you are doing a truly horrible job of it, and if you DON'T want to be above such things, then just admit it's all you've got. I honestly don't think it is all you've got. But it's virtually all you give. Which may be good enough for a job in cable news, but that's aiming damn low.

Yep. Based on your response, it wasn't hard.
