Scott gets jumped on for saying he doesn't like Obama but it's ok to call someone from the other side a "crazy bitch".

Hypocrite? Because I think Sarah Palin is a crazy bitch while I don't believe Obama is a monkey?

Catching up here...
The whole "Obama & William Ayers" controversy seems overblown because, upon close examination, Obama's connection to Ayers is limited at best. It's not as if they are compatriots and Obama has disavowed any connection to Ayers. They were, at most, acquaintences, it seems. So I don't see this reflecting on Obama in a negative light.
However, let's not whitewash the crimes committed by William Ayers. He is a terrorist who would be (and should be) in prison had it not been for prosecutorial misconduct relating in no way to his guilt or innocence.
Ayers and his compatriots planted bombs in public areas. That no one was killed by those bombs owes more to 1. their incompentence as terrorists and 2. simply the grace of God (or luck, if you prefer) than any benevolent intent on Ayers' part.
Obama definitely needed to clear up his connections to this vile man. But he has done so and done so adequately, in my opinion. I hope we can put this "Obama is pals with terrorists" nonsense to bed soon.

No. For saying personal attacks on one side are wrong while making them yourself against the other side.

Oh? 300+ pages and how many times have I used that, Miller?
Are you feeling ok? Your snark is pretty below par lately.

Christopher is right - personal attacks are wrong, no matter which side they come from. He's also right that far too many people (in general, not necessarily here on the JBF) are hypocritical about this type of stuff:
"How dare you call my candidate a jerk? What's that? You say I called your candidate a jerk first? Well, that's different - he is a jerk!"

Ah, but Miller, you're missing a key point - calling Palin a "crazy bitch" is not a personal attack. It's an acurate description. Like saying she has hair. Or that she officially abuses power. Or that she believes witches might get her. Or that she has eyeballs.
Comparing Obama to a monkey is wrong because Obama is not a monkey. He's not a damned dirty ape. He's a MAN! A BIG MAN! WITH AN EYE LIKE AN EAGLE AND AS TALL AS A MOUNTAIN WAS H...
Oh, crap. Now I've compared him to an eagle...
sigh...

LMAO, MIke, man is that ever the pot calling the kettle black. Oh, wait, is that racist? Do we really need to go back and revisit all things you called other posters in this thread again?

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt Mike, and not call you a liar. Please provide the documentation from Palin's psychologist where she has been clinically determined to be crazy. After all, you did use the term "fact".
If someone believes in evolution, then Obama (and you and me) could all just be considered evolved apes. :)
