I'm with you, Al. Another hit for the vast right wing conspiracy!

Next we'll hear Obama didn't father his own children.

We heard that Palin wasn't the mother of one of hers.

Irrelevant story, but thanks for another link to an absolutely hilarious site,
Scott! This stuff is pricelessly funny. Again, how can any reasoning,
thinking person take a site like that seriously? Wow. Still, it's not as good
as American 'Thinker'. That one takes the cake for stupid.

Yes, but that one didn't paint Obama in a bad light so it was perfectly acceptable even though it was even more improbable.

The thing you have to remember, if it paints the Messiah in a bad light (to use Farrakhan's term for Obama), then it's an obvious lie because everyone knows the Messiah can do no wrong.  It must be a conspiracy and it must be false.  There is no other alternative.

Oh Andrew - I see stuff like that and I just weep for you and your nation and
those who love it. It must break the heart of every intelligent, informed
American to see stuff like that.

Well, call me an elitist (or a filthy degenerate, as they say on the JBF) but it's why I both laugh AND cry when I watch Idiocracy.

Mike Judge's only flaw in that film is setting it 500 years in the future.  More like.. 100.  Maybe.  Maybe less.

You have no idea, Al:

"Get a job" yelled by people who also aren't at work (I guess the assumption is Democrats (or Obama Lovers) are unemployed?)

"European Socialists" used pejoritively (???)

"(Obama) hangs around terrorists." "Who are the terrorists?" "Obama." uhhhhh

I know this is all cherry picked, and I'm sure there were well thought out arguments against the Obama supporters across the street, but it still makes me sad.

The people of Iraq who are now able to vote for their government. Not Saddam Hussein and the Ba'th party.

**********

Whether or not you agree with Hussein and the Ba'th party is irrelevant. The people you call insurgents may have lived there their entire lives and have just as much right to fight against what they perceive as an invading force as you or I would if the same thing happened here.

I'm not talking about terrorists who came into Iraq after the start of the war. But citizens of Iraq who chose to fight against U.S. forces because they liked things the way they were. However misguided that may have been.

Why did Hussein have any less right to a claim of ownership of Iraq than the current people in power? Because you don't agree with the way he ran things?

Don't get me wrong, Saddam was a monster. But the people fighting us looked at us as an invading force in "their" country. They may have been wrong. They may have been right. But to say they have no claim on Iraq is just wrong.

You can find hilariously stupid supporters for both candidates.
