Scott, I assume you like comic books, right?

And I assume you know that the book "Seduction of the Innocent" and it's impact in the comic book industry.

So, being someone that enjoy comic books, and participating in this debate about the candidates, what do you think would be their response to the kind of allegations contained in the book " Seduction of the Innocent"?

That was something that took place more than 50 years ago, but I still hear conservative talks, and I would not be surprised if I hear Sarah Palin saying that comic books are not adequate for young readers.

What you think about that?

I'd rather see her as an Orion Slave Girl, myself.

I'd say I had to hear Palin's views on comics before I could comment one way or the other.  As far as Seduction of the Innocent, it was really just a witch hunt disguised as a book born in the McCarthy era fears when everyone was paranoid about everything with lots of finger pointing at every one else.  I never hear it mentioned out side of comic circles and even within comic circles, only historically.  It was a product of it's time.

I'll second that emotion, Mike. She is beyond unqualified to my mind.
