I'm with you, Geoff.

Well said Geoff Gibson.
Voting for Obama is the only chance to bring that decent republican party back to life. After losing the election the current structure should be changed and perfected, getting rid of some of the "bad" republicans (NEOCONs) is the only way to restore the honour of the republican party.

Unfortunately I'm afraid that won't happen. When McCain loses it will be
because he was not "conservative enough." It will take time for the
paradigm to change, just as the democratic party was the irrevocably
changed by FDR, I think GWB may have brought about a change within the
Republican party.

Well Geoff, then another party must arise from this, a new party perhaps. A third force is always good to balance the power.

Couldn't have said it better myself. And that pretty much sums up my opinion as well. Libertarians anyone?

I'm just curious who Hank Williams III is endorsing in this election.  The talent definitely skips a generation in that family.

Geoff there are still some good republicans out there, in Indiana we have a great Republican Senator, Richard Lugar. One thing I am glad to see, some well respected conservative writers are writing honest articles about Palin. We Democrats can shout all we want about how bad things have gotten in the republican party, but until it's own members start complaining, nothing will ever change.

Hank Williams Jr wow he's a keeper.

There are 5 of these , they are pretty cute. Once you are done with one it will count down to the next one.
