That he would.  He's been a bit busy, though.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing, Todd.

I remain unconvinced of its value.

I am not sure if anyone has posted it before, if they did, sorry, if not, enjoy!

PS.: Republicans may not be happy seeing this.

Mike Myers,

It looks like a new Bretton Woods conference fight is brewing.  I saw the headline on CNBC yesterday and it said something about Bretton Woods Part Deux and I am a bit surprised this push is coming from the French president (at least some of it) but we will see how it goes.  This is going to be a very interesting meeting Bush has scheduled.

Have you heard anything about it?  Ideas?  Comments?

Thanks,
Mike

EDIT: Gordon Brown, UK PM, also is calling for a new Bretton Woods conference.

Gordon Brown's call for a new Bretton Woods gains traction

Interesting link, Marcio. No real surprises there, although I wonder what's
behind the result from Macedonia. It sticks out as a real statistical anomaly
in the face of the rest of the spread.

Doesn't Obama have enough campaign funds to buy Macedonia?

Well, if the rest of the world got to vote in who ran every nation, they'd be changing the name of the planet from Earth to China.  :P

Seems obvious to me that "Leader of the Free World" is something that the
whole free world should get to vote on.

Personally, I think who the world wants as the American president is extremely valuable information.  We are one world, or at least that's the direction we must go in.

Edit: Al beat me to it!
