Exxon paid $30 billion in taxes last year. Sounds like a fair share to me.

I think pulling in profits upwards of 300 Billion while people are going broke trying get to work and back is nothing short of treasonous.

Two thing as it pertains to socialism:
Socialism isn't as much "spread the wealth" as it is "share the benefits". Might sound like "tomato - tomato", but I'm sure some will see a distinction.
And yes, a lot of socialists regard Jesus as an early socialist philosopher/ activist. These are usually the Christian Socialists, a particular breed very common in Victorian and Edwardian England, if you'll recall. They are still around, most modern western social democratic parties are about half and half Secular/materialist Socialists and Christian Socialists.

The middle class pays essentially 46% of their income nationally, where the more wealthier range from 28-38%.

I'm all for everyone getting rich, but things needs to be a little more equal. It's the presumption of priviledge that really drives it home.

No.  Keeping prices reasonable and not profiteering in a time of war would have been reasonable.
