I simply thought the irony to rich to ignore.

Scott's just so unhappy about Barack Obama that not only does he want the Republicans to succeed, he wants to irritate those who want to support Obama. I honesty don't know where that unhappiness is coming from.
Finally after all these decades, a Democrat president who might actually govern as a Democrat would. And a self-professed Democrat is terrified of that !

Or, is it only right to be a decent human being to someone if you agree with their politics and anything goes if you don't?
Scott give me a break you have been one of her biggest supporters on here, the truth is the truth, she abused her power when in office, she was forced by the alaskan Supreme court to sign into a law concerning gay rights, she asked about removing a book from the library and tried to fire the librarian who said she wouldn't. She stood up in front of a church and was protected from witchcraft, she had no clue what a vice president does, she spouts hate talk at rallies. Hell even true blue republicans that stand for honor say she is horrible. These have nothing to do with being decent, these things happened and as a democrat they are all shades of wrong.
Scott wasn't it you who was saying Michelle Obama had said "whitey"?

I thought the current state of the stock market was so bad that even atheists started praying for it.

What double-standard?
I did not see anywhere in Don's post where he said all Christians were
bad. It was obviously a specific reference to one specific instance which
involved the smallest handful of Christians
That's why I didn't quote or specify Don's post. I wasn't talking about Don, specifically. It was just his post that prompted me to post because it's a general trend I've seen on several message boards. It's even worse on some of the gay related boards I visit. The venom that gets spouted about Christians there makes even the harshest remarks here look like patty-cake.

Jodi, I hope you aren't teaching your children your definition of truth because they will truly be messed up for life. Since all the stuff about her came to light I haven't defended her politics at all. Period.
Just because I call you on all your half-truths and lies doesn't mean I'm supporting her. It just means I'm pointing out your half-truths and lies.
Scott wasn't it you who was saying Michelle Obama had said "whitey"?
Ah, there you go again with the half truths and lies. No. I never said that. I had posted that I heard the rumor she had but never said I believed it or that she had actually said it. The same way some people here were saying that Sarah Palin wasn't the real mother of her child. Remember that Jodi? Who was it that said that? I forget.

"The same way some people here were saying that Sarah Palin had been the real mother of her grandson."
I don't think people were saying that, Scott. People might've been discussing the rumor that she wasn't the real mother of her son with Down's syndrome but that her daughter was. Which is sort of the opposite.
(Though to be frank, the fact that Sarah Palin had the child in her mid 40s and the child had Down's syndrome should've been enough of a link to squash that rumor right out of the gate.)

D'oh, thanks Knut. Yes, you are correct. I meant the rumor that she wasn't the real mother of her son. I switched it in my reply. I need coffee.

just watched a recorded Daily Show and saw the clip of the voter expressing his anger to Joe the Plumber that the election of Obama is a death sentence for Israel. Now, no offense to Joe, but if I was registering that complaint, I'm not telling a plumber!
