I'm Canadian, and I am totally stoked for the first black President! In my lifetime! Good on you, America. For the first time since 2001, I'm really starting to feel proud of you guys!

I'll echo Jodi's sentiment - every time I hear Obama speak, every time I see him on TV or read about him in the paper, I think only of the very best that America once stood for, and will come to stand for again. Does anyone else feel that little spark in the air, that little bit of energy that's letting us know the world may in fact become a better place because of the history this election is making?

Andrew, sadly I'm traveling for work this week - so I'll be wearing my work shirt the day of election - a white shirt and tie (but it's an Obama power blue tie!) - I have the Madonna one with me, so I'll likely wear that after work...

Let me dig around online and see if I can find pics of the three shirts - otherwise, I'll take pics when I get home next week.

Brad - Yes, very much so.  Very much so.

I dug around online here in my hotel room and found images of the three shirts I mentioned above - here's hoping the images come out ok.

Ok!  That's them - the DEVO pic is pretty crummy - I can take one of my actual shirt when I get home.

One notes that the Madonna one doesn't SAY Madonna on it - but it's using one of her songs "Express Yourself" as the tagline.

The KISS shirt?  On the back - not sure if you can make it out in the pic, but it says  "VOTE or shut the fuck up"

I love them!

Brad my dad said something tonight that made me tear up, he said he was inspired by John Kennedy's call to public service and got involved in his community. He was inspired by Martin Luther King's dream of an equal America and he fought for those he worked with, protecting their rights.  Bobby Kennedy reminded him of  America's possiblities, that even a guy who didn't finish high school could work hard and send all his kids thru college. He had given up hope that we would once again have a man to inspire greatness in his lifetime. He feels Obama embodies the greatness of America.

Brad, I feel that energy too, and I'm so glad some of our closest allies express it as well!  I love the fact that other nations prefer Obama as our president, sometimes 5 to 1 or more.  No more isolationist shit.  I'm tired of the "right" using fear to keep the sheep in line.  And I'll be so glad to see Palin head back into the wilderness...

Oh yeah, lots of positive energy in the air...and over the airwaves.

D'oh!  I was listening to his show tonight, too!  Didn't hear that part...

He usually talks over the news - it's not unlike Karel to say something hyperbolic like "I want Joe the plummer dead!" - but it is unlike him to curse on-air like that, so I suspect he didn't realize his mic was on.

He broadcasts out of his home in LA and it's run through the KGO studios in SF, so... you know, mistakes happen.

I like his show sometimes.  (I've been on-air as a caller a few times!)  He's not a good replacement for Bernie Ward - and he was a rabid Hillary man - he tried his best to smear Obama in the primaries, but in the end, when I am near the Bay and am able to catch his show, he's been a solid Obama man since Obama got the nom, so... power to him.

I doubt anything will come of this, other than a fine - but if he's removed, it'll leave that horrid Christine Kraft (sp?) on in Bernie's old spot - and she's awful.

Man... KGO sure went to hell after I left SF... sniff sniff..

And on Fox News, Jesse Jackson learned that. LOL
