In and out of my polling place in less than ten minutes. I woke up an hour
earlier than usual, since I was anticipating long lines and since my
enthusiasm for this year's election kept me from sleeping in this morning.

Oh look, Fox "News" is reporting it.....   So it must be true!!

Yeah, Fox News is just ahead of the curve.  CNN and MSNBC will just wait until tomorrow to report it.

One of my co-workers -- also with an "I voted" sticker on -- said to me, "Well, I guess our votes just cancelled each other out.  We should've just stayed home."

And I said, "No, my vote is bigger than yours.  I'm voting for the future of this country!"

It's too late to matter in the election, but I thought some might appreciate this....

A new study by the highly respected, non-partisan Pew Research Center found that MSNBC is actually more biased than Fox News. The study found a conservative bias at Fox, but also found that MSNBC was even more skewed toward the left. It points out the problems with both channels.

And in a related note, Ben Affleck's spoof of Keith Olbermann on Saturday Night Live was hilarious - and spot-on. ("How dare you, sir?!")

In my little hometown I had to wait a little over an hour to vote--the longest
I've ever waited in line to vote in any election.

(Really wishing The-Powers-That-Be or The-Powers-That-Will-Be would
examine the electoral process because I think the electoral college is a
dated and pointless concept.)

This election has me so excited my entire body is engorged with blood.

That is kind of gross, Andrew!

MSNBC has gone beyond the pale in bias.  Olbermann is just the most obvious.

Gee, Tom -- and here I thought you voted for the candidate who's all about unification, reconciliation, and reaching across party lines . . .

Although I'm more inclined to agree with the pundits on MSNBC, my issue with FOX is that more often than not, they regurgitate conservative talking points and are essentially a political mouth piece, whereas MSNBC is certainly left-skewing but I never get the impression their pundits are not giving their actual, non-corporate-massaged views.
