I am still not calling it but I must say, I am started to feel happy.
I think you are going to hear a collective cheer around the world if Obama can win this. I am watching the gathering in Chicago, wishing I was there, but so proud to see all the different people joining together in a wonderful event.

If the projections are correct that Ohio really will go to Obama, then we can pretty safely say it is over. McCain needed to nab Virginia, Florida, and Ohio to even have a chance. There is no realistic electoral scenario that would work out for him if he loses even one of those three.

Rachel Maddows reports that South Dakota's vote to ban abortion failed and Colorado's vote to declare eggs as life has failed.
Let's hope my homestate of California will vote down the evil and vile Prop 8. Please, California, don't let humanity down.
