Tee hee Paul!
All things considered, I hate to have you pay it out, but it was going to charity, so... in the spirit of Obama's talk of Patriotism and Responsibility, I think we should all do what we can to take up new efforts of charity in our communities.
This is a new day in America and I am letting it wash over me. I am very engergized by tonight.
Thank you America.

Neil,
I am lucky enough to be in lunch break. And they don't forbid "listening" to videos while working...

ah yes, another Great Irish President, O'Bama.
For whatever reason I'm watching the coverage on Fox News. It's funny how awfully conciliatory they are now.
I thought McCain gave the speech he should have been giving all along.
Now, my one un-gracious moment - go home, Sarah Palin, there's a moose in your yard.

Yes really.
Nothing in that article says that he ever bucked his own party.
Since he's been in the US Senate...has he gone against party leadership?
Big nope there.

" She says that he will insprire so much "hope" that people will have less abortions so really Obama is pro-life. "
======================
She's actually a lot smarter than guys like you or I. In a better world people would be able to afford children, whether planned or not. In the world we have now, the one that the conservative / free market powers gave us, abortions are an economic necessity for some women.

That the current Republican Party is so right-radical that McCain, a guy who came up through the Republican establishment, had to diverge from them. That tells you something.

Congrats to President-Elect Obama!!!
Interesting observation- During McCain's speech his supporters couldn't
help but boo at the mention of Obama's name yet Obama's supporters
cheered McCain during Obama's nod to him in his speech. Hmmm...
Seems to me there are some sore losers and gracious winners in this
election. Hopefully this new administration can unite this country
where the old administration could not.
Here's to the future!!!
-C!

Terrific night, America's spoken - and clearly. No more, no more, no more. Very proud of states that traditionally go Republican to not buy the rhetoric like they did in 2000 and 2004. Enough lip service, smear campaigns, name calling, classless behavior. One America, let's get this train back on track. A proud night for America - and shame on those poor folks in those red Southern states for voting for a jumbled elitist party with no direction, no plan, just mean-spirited name calling and racism.
Note to John McCain - John, you should have stayed in "character." The you of 2000 would likely have won. A "maverick" who went against your party at times, and didn't stand in line with insanity like the last 8 years. Your speech tonight was simple, elegant and classy. Too bad you didn't opt for that voice during your campaign, and instead went for the angry, twitchy, nasty guy who got buried tonight.
P.S. Allowing "the machine" to foist the Floozy on you was very "un-mavericky" as well. Should have went with your own pick.

It's socialist countries, however, with the higher rates of abortion, and worse, infanticide of disabled children. Strange that.

McCain was a totally class act tonight. For the first time in months, he seemed himself.
What a night. I've watched elections for 30 years, and have never seen anything like this. I hope Obama (and we) can live up to tonight's promise.
