Here's a quickie I did last night while watching the features on No Country
For Old Men. The eyes are wonky, wouldn't mind doing this over sometime
for real when I have more time.

Who knows Bill,by the way i like your paintings they look fine i don't see anything wrong with  the eyes maybe you could highlight the eye on the left hand side of your painting as you look at it.Glad you like my stuff thanks mate.

Andy,

This -as well as the Grace portrait on the last page- was done using
water soluble oil pastels. You might be able to find them
at:www.portfolioseries.com

I was browsing the art store a while back and thought that sounded
pretty curious and worth experimenting with. They are fun to use even
though I haven't bother adding any water to them. Maybe tonight I will!

They're like using a thick creamy crayon to sketch with. I put in the
various colors I see in the face then smudge and smear them with my
fingers. It's a very tactile experience.
