So now Joe Rogan is having issues with ICE tactics?

Nah, mother fucker. You bought all into the White Brains Grifter.

You don't get to ask for a refund.

Disagree.

In science it’s said the three most important words are “I was wrong.” The same holds true for politics, but there are heard far less often.

I agree with JB - if a politician refuses to change
direction, they are vilified as not listening
If they change - they are doing a U turn and are weak (we
are hearing a LOT of that in the UK at the moment).

By maintaining those positions, politicians stick to the
path they are on.
I much prefer to hear a politician say that on
reflection, they have changed their position.

Being wrong in the face of evidence is a lot worse than
moving to the correct position in the face of evidence.

Of course, changing position only because something
affects you personally, and you thought you were going to
be able to dodge that bullet, is another thing entirely -
because you haven't REALLY changed your position. you are
just upset that you got caught in the crossfire.

I would think it quite rare that a regular voter especially over a long period of time never rued a single vote cast.

Even Bill O’Reilly is saying ICE is going too far and needs to stand down.

Many are praising podcaster Joe Rogan for speaking out against ICE.

Great, but LET’S NOT FORGET this is the SAME GUY, with his huge audience, who helped Trump get elected and claimed Canada is sliding into “legitimate communism.”

Fuck these guys... they're part of the problem.

It has been very strange to watch Rogan become a real world version of the character he played on NEWS RADIO!

He was, indeed, part of the problem. But, I’m with JB on this. If he finally
sees the light and then make part of his vast audience see the light, is that
a bad thing?

I've been long of the opinion that people have to be allowed to change their mind, or progress is impossible.

Justice Harry Blackmun was criticized for evolving from a conservative to a liberal (the actual severity of which was ludicrously distorted by partisan politics), and he argued that anyone whose opinions didn't change while serving on the Supreme Court wasn't doing it right.

Unfortunately his example, and that of justices like Earl Warren, William Brennan and David Souter, convinced Republicans to prioritize ideological rigidity and childish stubbornnes, which has metastasized with party servants like Sam Alito and Clarence Thomas.

Winston Churchill said something like “Anyone who is not a liberal when they are young has no heart, while anyone who is not a conservative when they are older has no sense.”

Guess I have no sense. Conservatism seemed cruel when I was a teenager and now it's just fascism.
