Here’s a question. Suppose Trump takes Greenland by force because he can’t get a deal. What next? Does he hold a European population by force indefinitely?
I also note that Kennedy has started going for Germany about their health regime. Good Lord people, just piss right off.
I really hate to say this, but we need these people to die, because no way are they going via a ballot box. Not murder, just die. The whole bloody lot of them.

For me, there is a different feel about where we are when compared to the 80s. Yes we had terrifying things like THREADS and videos of what to do in the event of a nuclear attack. But leaders were trying to find ways to end the conflict.
I’m not seeing that now. What I’m seeing is leaders ramping up tension and conflict, with no attempt to dampen it down. They seem to thrive on chaos. While other leaders are saying we need to prepare for conflict within the next five years. That feels totally different to when I was a kid in the 80s

I have seen some media outlets mention conscription in the U.K. due to the unstable state of the world currently. The last time i recall that being considered was when Russia invaded Afghanistan in the late 70's. You are right James, the leaders seem eager to ramp things up rather than try and calm things down as in the 80's. Social media and 24/7 news didn't exist in those days, and i definitely think they add fuel to the fire. I see news of European leaders in talks to counter growing threats from Russia and China, but what about the growing threat from The U.S.A.?

We here in Canada are like, "yeah, what about that", every single day.

As I have been saying since he began his first term, Trump clearly wants to be a nuclear president. The question is, who is prepared to stop him?
