Schools are stupid. In Junior High some punk kid* threw a full milk carton at my face in the lunchroom, and I instinctively raised my hand in front of my face to block it. The carton bounced off my hand and hit a girl sitting next to me instead. The Vice Principal happened to see this and sent us both to the Principal's office. We were both suspended. What lesson was I supposed to learn from the suspension (my only one, ever)? I should have just let myself get beaned square in the face, instead? I was quite angry about the injustice of it all for years.
*Found out via posts from grown-up aquaintances on Facebook that said punk kid grew up with a drug and alcohol problem and died at some point. Guess he learned no lessons from that, either.

I play one game on my tab - based on HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON. It has daily tasks, one of which is to watch an advert. Today’s advert was for doing exercise regime that will change your body - leaner, fitter, less joint pain. It featured a plus size woman speaking about her pain, and showed a woman struggling to move well before the exercise, but moving much better after the exercise. The advert had a tiny disclaimer that all the women were AI generated.
I personally think this is obscene and should not be allowed.. If you are advertising changes in body shape and fitness, show real people. I know adverts lie all the time, but this is too much.

I'd much rather see Philomena Cunk take on Ancient Rome.

The “tour” of the TITANIC is nicely done, tho several times they violate their own premise—unless she has a drone in her pocket. (A few times we get a glimpse of her empty hand!)

Makes you wonder what it'll look like in a year. I wouldn't assume these kinds of mistakes/artifacts are going to persist as the technology improves.

I also generally thought the "tour" was well done. Definitely noticed some inconsistencies, particularly in Chloe's tattoos.

I suspect in a year the staggering expense of tokens and inference will finally be passed on to consumers and enterprises and youtube channels like this one will struggle to exist. The helium and oil shortage over the next year will cripple AI build out and private financing is running out of money to prop up a product with no path to profitability.

That's the thing. I find myself being amused by AI-generated videos, but I don't see myself ever being willing to actually pay for them.
