Looking at Hunter's linework, I'm reminded a little bit of that inker named Ernie Chan (sp?) who used to work on a lot of John Buscema's Conan art during the mid- to late 1970s.  He has that quality in him.

HUNTER! These are great! I really like the guy with the sword & the mace for a hand. I looked at the sword and a thought hit me - if he caught a the sternum while stabbing someone, would he kill his target or would the sternum stop the blade?
I guess he'd just bash the heck out of his enemy if that happened anyway...

Show some more if you feel okay with it!

So, here's my next Kubert correspondence assignment...cityscapes are brutal - can you spot the tilting buildings?! I can when it's this small. But it's fun stuff anyway!

The image is a bit warped because I took it with a camera, and for some reason it comes out a bit 'fisheyed':

PS - All of my reading Buscema's Conan run lately resulted in, well...Conan's ugly brother running through the jungle. Not a deliberate swipe - I didn't have a Buscema drawing in front of me - but a swipe nontheless. It just came out that way on it's own. I'm a sponge. I'd better just start looking at & drawing from life to avoid that.
