Hunter, this is for you.

This is a poster done by a dude named Mark Willis. He took some concepts I had and designed the characters, with the hopes of hitting on something to sell to publishers. I'm a scripter for the stories, but the point is, this is the guy's work. Posting here to see what reaction is.

Let'm know, folks!

Hey Chad, question about the ape-like character. Are those cybernetic/bionic implants or some kind of bone growths?

When you draw it, you realize how crazy Galactus's design is:

I used JB's Marvel Universe Handbook entry for reference.  Impressive detail.  I couldn't imagine trying to illustrate Galactus 30 times in a comic from various angles.

I am working on a project with a friend and I'll have to ink it. So I drew these in my sketchbook this weekend to get in some inking practice.

The growths are bone, more or less, as the character is supposed to be a kind of animal/neanderthal hybrid. I can't recall Mr. Willis' exact reason for including the spurs, except to give the character a more monstrous, "alien" quality.

Very interesting Chad, that was my first guess-bone growths.

Here is a pic I did for a Role Playing Game company that wanted  a ghoul creature based on the 30 Days of Night movie. Close to Halloween so I thought I would post it:
