These aren't from my sketchbook, but I was pointed to this thread for these, so I assume they're okay here.
It's been a long time since I've posted here. Stopping by the forum, it
wasn't my first intention to show art, but I've done a lot since the
last time I posted here so I might as well show some of it off...
A
bit of an homage to Ditko in this one, including borrowing that iconic
Spider-Man pose that they even used in the old cartoon, but which
hasn't been used much since. I love Ditko's Spider-Man. It's not the
only great Spider-Man but it is the Spider-Man.
This
was an earlier piece. If I were to do a dream project, it would be to
do a Spider-Man story that only adheres to the continuity set by Lee
and Ditko and which incorporates none of the retroactive continuity
added since.
Another homage piece, this time based on the very earliest Bob Kane Batman art.
I
have more to show, but I don't want to crowed this thread with my art.
If anyone is interested in seeing more, let me know. These were drawn,
inked and colored by me.
