Al, it is a 4th dimensional self portrait.
:)
I was that thin in the 8th grade, had the pert bits in my 20's and much
longer hair until about 9 months ago.

So, you know, your typical comic book representation of myself.
;)

Being about to hit 40 I don't look much like that anymore but I haven't
turned anyone to stone yet, so I have that going for me.
Which is nice.

Michael, Danger Mouse ownz!

You guys seem to have a pretty snappy banter going on in here. Hope i
can keep up.
;)

Keri;

I was going to write something reassuring and welcoming here but your
use of the phrase 'pert bits' has me so distracted I can't think what to say.
So the truth is, yeah, Michael's right. Watch out. Especially now that I
know you're the exact same age as I am...

And my comic book representation of myself would be very poorly drawn.
You have some real talent there - I'm looking forward to seeing more of
your stuff. I mean goods. I mean pert bits.   No! I mean DRAWINGS.
Yeah, that's it. Drawings.

(Seriously - good stuff! Keep it coming.)

Welcome Keri, you got some nice characters skills there.
Doing groups of people posing, and still make it look natural is really tough, but you pull it off easily. Nice. :-)

Another pencil sketch on watercolor paper for my story, Trickery.
Preparing to paint it today.

HA! Thanks JPB. The painting process is well underway. I'm doing it in acrylic
and gouache. Using some new techniques. It'll probably be a week or so,
though, before I have anything to show for my efforts. Stay tuned ...
