Because you started dating her, right?

••

Alas, never met her in the real world.

Anyone else have odd things (about their own dreams) to add ?

-------

Many different odd things ... including the ability to float a foot or so off the ground (and at great speed if I'm dreaming about going down flights of stairs), plus - if I need to run to or away from something, I find my legs are slow to react, so have to resort to all fours, having my arms effectively 'pull' me along.

I don't have recurring dreams as such, but there is a talking baby that's 'visited' me now twice in a week on separate nights - which is unusual. Sweary little thing it is, as well.

A recurring dream for many years was of me being aware I was in a dream and trying, unsuccessfully, to convince those around me they were also in a dream.

Many times I've had the short dream of being able to do a "Hulk leap", tho once I start my decent I'm jolted awake.

Phil- to this day I still have the same exact struggling crawling away dream you experience. I wonder if there is some deep-seated meaning behind it?

I have a recurring 'comic book store' dream, where I'm either driving somewhere and see a shop and stop in, or I'm in a town I know and decide to walk to one of two shops I frequent in these dreams. None of the shops are real and all feature unmade comics. I remember seeing a collected run of JB returning to Namor with another artist (not Jae Lee), and a few other oddities of his over the years.

If I become lucid in a dream, I test it by flying. Once I've propelled myself a few yards in the air, I realize I'm dreaming and the dream changes.

I have dreams that I really need to use the bathroom/restroom. However, when I find one it is somehow out of order, occupied, or something else. Then I wake up and I really need to go to the bathroom. This is probably why I remember these dreams.

Weird dream over the weekend. All the Marvel heroes had become villains, and vice versa. It turns out that Marvel did have an 'event' called Axis that I was unaware of until typing this.

I might have forgotten the dream already (in the normal fashion) if The Invisible Woman hadn't used her force fields in such murderous ways!

I still, still, STILL have a recurring dream where it's finals and I haven't been to class all semester.   It varies on the class, etc but why do I still have that when I haven't been in a classroom in 25 years?

I often have recurring themes also. It used to be I was back at university about to take an exam, but hadn't revised at all. Now it's: I've got to get to the airport for a flight, but I've given myself no time at all and I've left my bag on the train that I was travelling on. Not particularly pleasant a dream...

I have had at least three dreams in the last couple weeks where I knew it was some sort of post apocalyptic world, though it didn’t actually look like it. The really weird thing was there was a thin blonde man with glasses, walking a dog in all three. And it’s not anyone I know. As soon as he got close enough to interact with me, I woke up each time.

I dream about work once in a while, but it is always in the drugstore I worked in as a teenager and my early 20s.

For workplace dreams, I’ve had more that have to do with my high school
grocery store job than probably anywhere else.

I also have a weird thing of inventing quite convincing milieus (buildings, street layouts, public spaces) that I'm sure I've never been to before.
