I was at a movie. Came out and saw the raw footage. I am now sick to my stomach. CBS News will soon make him out to be a demon.

Man, it is harder and harder to watch the news about the U.S.I don't like to comment on politics, but it's astonishing that the entire nation isn't rising up against the dictatorship that's clearly being established in the country. The only explanation I can think of is that people haven't yet grasped what's happening right under their noses.

You know it's bad when the 2A MAGA hats are claiming gun ownership as grounds for being shot down with 9-10 bullets in the street after being subdued with mace.

We've grasped it Sergio but we are in the vice-like grip of a President Supreme Court, and Congress with no checks and balances. Nevermind that news, TV, and film in the late 60s and well into the 70s did their best to portray hippies and counterculture as negative and scary things. We grew up being told protests were bad. Hell, even Woodstock was seen as a bad thing among conservatives. And it spread.
I don't know what end is up anymore. There is too much group think and there is always, always, always people's fears of the status quo changing and that scares the hell out of this nation.

The victim was an ICU nurse at a VA hospital.
Video shows ICE detaining him for filming. He is complying until a woman nearby is getting repeatedly shoved and pepper sprayed at close range. He tries to help her and that’s when the ICE agents jump him and start beating him. During the struggle, you can see a holstered gun (which he had a permit for) at his back waistband. You see an ICE agent take gun and walk off with it BEFORE the shots begin. From another angle you see that the victim was being held down with both arms on the ground when the shots started.
Even the cultists will have a hard time rationalizing a counter narrative, although I’m sure they will. They might have to resort to claiming it’s all AI.

🤦🏾♂️😔
There will be more ICE murders in Minneapolis.
Maine, it's coming soon.
Remember, it's what the voters wanted.
Information regarding Project 2025 was available and the White Brians Grifter said the he was going to do this while on the campaign trail, but it was ignored.
I would not have been surprised if POC were murdered during the ICE deployments.
So, is it safe to assume that the murderers and rapists that Trump campaigned to get rid of are non-POC, since they are the ones that have died at the hands of ICE?
If there was any hope that Nov 3rd would save us, I'm not confident that will happen. This country is too far gone.

"We've grasped it Sergio" ---------- I hope I haven't sounded condescending or disrespectful. It's just that I'm still in shock at the things I'm seeing: young children being abducted from school to lure their parents, people being executed in the street in broad daylight, threats to use force to seize territory from allied countries... It's hard to take in.

The narrative that Nazi cosplaying dude with a Napoleon complex Bovino is shoveling that ICU nurse Alex Pretti “wanted to do maximum damage to agents” is totally debunked by anyone with half a brain taking five minutes to watch two phone camera angles.
At no point was his gun unholstered until an ICE agent removes it from its holster. Contrary to DHS, he never approached officers “brandishing a 9mm handgun”. Ever.
Pretti was sprayed with a chemical irritant not once, not twice, but three times directly in the eyes before being surround by goons.
He was on his knees prior to being shot. Let that sink in. ON. HIS. KNEES. He only lay prone on his back from the force of multiple gunshots.
Any sane person knew that Good wouldn’t be the last given the sheer number of ICE agents deployed here. They engage without any provocation. No, standing across the street from the Whipple building where detainees are held is not provoking the agents. They are well within their Constitutional rights to peacefully protest. ICE threatens, they taunt, they goad and then like 2 year olds lash out at the smallest perceived slight. Untrained, thin-skinned, dangerous boys with guns and the backing of a man who, in 2016, said he could shoot somebody and he wouldn’t lose any voters.
Welcome to America 2026.

Matt Reed: "Welcome to America 2026."
Fascist death squads roaming the streets? No thanks, we've got our own kind over here... wait, no.
It really is staggering. If you see any kind of "immigration enforcement" operation in our cities, it's usually small-scale, low-key and carried out by uniformed, regular police officers. Collect the 'offender', move out. Sometimes the people they're looking for aren't there, obviously, but they don't start spraying/shoving/shooting people in their frustration/anger/testosterone rush. They, uh, pack up and move out and maybe come back another day.
That's my *understanding* of what happens. I've never actually seen it in person.
To imagine you can get *killed for being an onlooker* by Federal agents is... well, it's a special kind of mind-boggler.
Cops over here very rarely use deadly force, so we have the (very) occasional headline of the style "Man shot in leg by police".
It's a world apart.
These news are horrible to watch.

Saw a sketchy news item online yesterday probably not long after it happened. I have been up and hour and flicked between BBC News, Sky News and GB News and not a single mention of this shocking event. Nor the events in Iran with protestors being shot and killed in their thousands been mentioned. Plenty of mentions of The Beckhams and Prince Harry though. Bread and circuses springs to mind.
