I got another one for Darren:

Have you ever done, or considered doing, a sketchbook for sale?

"Have you ever done, or considered doing, a sketchbook for sale?"-Brian

I have but I doubt that there would be much in the way of sales and so the thought was fleeting;-)

Thanks Darren!

Darren - you should do as Brian suggested and put together a sketch book... You can use a "Print On Demand" publisher (Kablam) and handle sales thru them. That way, no matter what your sales are, you're not out a lot of up front money, or sitting on stock that's not moving. Just a thought - for you and any other artist out there.

*edited to add question*
Question for anyone who cares to comment - would love to here from JB
on this:
In the bottom sketch above, does the profile look like the same person as
from the front? It is a challenge to me to make it look like a drawing of
the same person from different angles. I think maybe I did it above, but I
am not objective and I cant seem to do this consistently.
Does anyone have any tricks or tips they use to accomplish this?

Whether that might translate, I don't know, Comics and boarding are two -VERY- different beasts.

Darren I think you could give it a try. Maybe an indy publisher or something outside the big two at first and see if you like it. If I had your talent I'd be doing everything in my hands to get into comics.
