Batman, the senator is shot.. by Bob Haney and Neal Adams. The introduction of the redesigned Green Arrow. It was published in Sweden in black and white. It was like being hit in the head with a brick.

Titles like THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD were s great choice for a one issue story. Which was a wise purchase in the spinner rack days of the 1960s and 1970s.

BRAVE AND THE BOLD with art by Jim Aparo was always a favorite buy.  I remember being disappointed when it was cancelled and replaced by BATMAN AND THE OUTSIDERS.

That was over forty years ago, but some things just stick.  I suppose the planned BRAVE AND THE BOLD Batman movie could be referring to a later revival, but even then those later versions were inspired by the original.

Looking back, I'm surprised I couldn't put John Byrne, Frank Miller, Walt Simonson, George Perez, or Marshall Rogers on my list.  The "New Kids"!

Avengers - my first was a Marvel Super Action reprint of #71, so Sal Buscema (note that one had most of the Avengers to date in it); first current Avengers was #210 by Gene Colan
Fantastic Four - JB (FF #237)
Defenders - Don Perlin (#100)
Spider-Man - Herb Trimpe (MTU #106); first ongoing would be ASM #230, by JRJR
Captain America - Mike Zeck (Cap #283)
Daredevil - Klaus Janson (DD #196)
Hulk - Rick Leonardi/Al Milgrom (Hulk Ann #10)
Thor - Alan Kupperberg (Thor #324)
Doctor Strange - Dan Green (Doc #60)
X-Men - Paul Smith (UXM #167)

Justice League - Rich Buckler (JLA #212)
Superman - Curt Swan/Gil Kane (Action #544)
Legion of Super-Heroes - John Forte :-) (Adv #500) (Keith Giffen (#299) present day)
Batman - Carmine Infantino (B&B #194)
Flash - Carmine Infantino (B&B #194)
Green Lantern - Keith Pollard (GL #165, but it was John Stewart - Hal would've been #166 by George Tuska)

Since most were Greek reprints, the timelines don't actually match. This is basically from 1976-1980

Superman: Curt Swan issues versus Grundy and the Parasite
Batman: Probably Jim Aparo
Captain America: Sal Buscema run circa the Secret Empire storyline
X-Men: Jack Kirby
New X-Men: John Byrne (#125)
Avengers: John Buscema or Don Heck, not sure
Thor: Jack Kirby
Iron-Man: George Tuska
Captain Marvel: Jim Starlin
Spider-Man: John Romita (Sr)
Fantastic Four: Rich Buckler or John Buscema, so basically Joe Sinnott era :-)
Shang Chi: Paul Gullacy
Daredevil: Frank MIller
