Laughing Ogre has always been a top notch comic store, focused on all the right things - comics and the talent who create them! Gib used to bring creators to Mid Ohio Con (I remember him bringing Dan Brereton a couple times) and they're a really big part of the local college and art scene. The store definitely leaned into independent comics, but not with the snobbery that sometimes comes with those stores. All readers were good readers.

Gib was one of the guys who ran a comic shop the right way - welcoming, social, helpful. We definitely need more guys like him!
