It's number 8, the death of Barry Allen.

mikesamazingworld is a good resource for showing all of the comics that came out in a given month.

I was such a Marvel kid, that I was blissfully unaware of what was going on at DC at the time. While JB was still doing major work at Marvel, DC was laying the groundwork for him and several other Marvel stars to move over. BTW, for a few months up until the previous month, Jerry Ordway inked both JB's FF and Perez' CRISIS at the same time!

Also, it's kinda freaky that all 4 of JB's books are all adjacent to each other like that. It's a coincidence since the titles are mostly arranged in vertical alphabetical order.

I bought Alpha Flight 29 from a UK newsagent, one of the few times I found US imports in a high street newsagent during my prime comic-reading years. I was so close to getting the good stuff! Just a bit late. Began picking up back issues a few years later.

I've never even heard of RAD. Looking it up online, I can see why!

JUNGLE FEVER, judging by the comics, filmed March/April 1990:

JB missed representation by one issue - the Nebula Avengers cover was one month after he left both Avengers titles, and this is before he picked up IRON MAN or SHE-HULK - so all he had this month was NAMOR #3.

Useless fact - they didn't film the movie in Bensonhurst as stated - this is actually Mill Basin, where I lived for 10 of my adult years - I used to get my hair cut at the barber shop shown behind Nick Turturro.
