A couple of "Traffic Stop" sketches done over the past few days.

I decided to give one of my main antagonists for a group of superheroes a bit of a redesign.  I was going for the "masked terrorist" look, but felt like something wasn't quite right with the way I made it, so I went for something combining a stylized helmet and tighter mask instead.

A model sheet that I'm working on for the characters in my prospective comic.  The original art is actually almost 15 × 10 inches and will be completed within a week or two.

@Sebastien Roy - Love the Avengers piece! Wish I had the courage to work on something that big with that many characters and backgrounds!

Thanks Gil. I'm always extremely nervous when I start a piece like that. I don't know how JB does it!!

Pencil lines for my latest model sheet.  I'm starting to get the handle on this, though I feel like there still needs to be a bit of tweaking and tightening up.  With these, I'm going to save the pencils by using the lightpad technique for the inking phase.  I'm pretty much set on the main characters (and antagonist) here, so it's a matter of pulling together additional model sheets for supporting characters and other antagonists as they come.

One thing I've noticed with the tools that I'm using is that the T-square which I used for lining up everything on this sheet of paper is off by a slight angle.  I don't know if it's the paper or the table on which I'm working, but it really shows up when I go to crop the image in the paintshop software.  I'm thinking of getting a new T-square and coming up with a little experiment to show me which side is off-center.

It might be that when you scan the image it's slightly off angle too. I notice that when I scan stuff once in awhile.
