An interesting observation on this piece since the original is actually scanned at a much higher resolution (300 dpi). I have plans to print out a full sized copy of this for coloring with my new marker set, but have found that the printer I use isn't exactly set up for holding a ledger size (11 × 17 inches) sheet of paper in its trays. Looks like more than one thing to do this weekend, like figuring out how to load that thing. Other than that, it's my second attempt at a large scale drawing with the crowquill pens. Most of the figure and backgrounds on the lower page are done in a #100, which is the more flexible point which can create more varied line widths. The finer details on the face, clothing, and in the higher clouds on the background are done with the smaller #102. The drawback is that I still need to use the color replacement brush in my paintshop program to actually make the lines "pop out" a little more, which I've found doesn't really lend itself to the printer otherwise (looks a little yellow-gray).
