Can't have our holiday season without a little "Santa Claus" in it.

An earlier sketch colored with Prismacolor pencils.  Not the finest job in the world, but good enough to add to a sketchbook.

Trying again in Google Chrome, since IE got tagged by some sort of shoppers' alert bug on me a few weeks back.  (Damned spammers!)

In closing for the day, another example of the current penciling style that I'm working on.  Basically, it's more like the layouts that Jack Kirby used to throw down for other artists (for instance, Werner Roth/Alex Toth in the early issues of X-Men in the mid-1960s).  I plan to ink directly over these during the holiday weekend to complete a series of model sheets to be used next year.
