So Trump says Starmer is no Churchill because he won’t join in his ego
bomb.
Downing Street treats it with the contempt it deserves and says nothing.
Because here’s the thing.
What’s the point?
He’s a man baby. Throwing insults around left right and centre. But if you
dare to insult him, he’s whining about how you have been disrespectful, and
are a bad person.
Trump only likes you when you say yes. Dare to ask why, or heaven forbid,
say no, and you are a bad person.
That’s not leader, that’s mafia. And that’s who has been put in charge,
surrounding himself with people who would clearly break any law to reach
their ends.
And they have people who will compromise every fibre of their beliefs and
being, backing them up, saying it is their divine duty to be and do so.
So you tell me what’s the difference between the person they just killed,
and the person they are. Because they are slowly but surely, turning
America into the country that they are currently flattening.

Americans bought the bullshit, now we have to deal with it.
We all better hope that there are honest/fair elections in November.

It’ll be a mix of literally every strategy they can think of. They’ve done the redistricting, gotten AGs in key states, kicked the tires on invalidating the count in certain key districts (that’s what’s going on in Georgia), limiting voter access and otherwise suppressing the vote via last minute legal shenanigans in other districts (as in Dallas last week), and are attempting to normalize federal troops in other other districts to drive down voting through sheer intimidation (MPLS etc).
Trump is also simultaneously trying to ram through the Federal approach as far as he can with the SAVE act and any number of legal challenges and protections that he’s been able to wring out of SCOTUS over the last few years. He may even Hail Mary an executive order on November 4th halting the count and tying things up in courts for months.
The 2026 Midterms are going to be the hate-child of January 6th and the end of Reconstruction. However chaotic, infuriating, and terrifying you think it’s going to be, I’d say be prepared for it to be several factors worse.
