I think between the Watergate scandal and the movie Capricorn One ( showing how a hoax could be done ) it created a generation where people started to question everything they were told by the government.
Obviously some people take it to the extreme and see conspiracy in everything.

The thing about conspiracy—in the real world it tends to crumble under its own weight. In the case of the Moon Landing, in almost sixty years no credible source has come forward to show it was all faked. Not one.

Let's look at this logically, shall we? If Armstrong was really the first man to walk on the moon and the footage of it is legit...who was holding the camera? Think about it.

The only "conspiracy theory" that I consider is UFO/UAP
sightings - and there are some stories and images that
suggest some alien activity during the moon landings. And I
really want to beieve them, because I love the idea of
aliens checking us out as we try to get to the moon!
Flat earthers, moon landing deniers, and Republicans are
all too far-fetched for me to even consider.
