LOL, Ryan that's a funny version of Guardians suit. Although they've -missed- the "stem" part of the leaf, 'n' gloves!

I'm having a hard time finding the costume again.  Looks like the dealer has moved on to more fetish-oriented stuff.

Darren, I believe Dan Green was on inks for that issue of BotD.  Hey, I PM'd you a day or two ago, did you get it?  If not, would you mind emailing me at ryanpmaxwell at Yahoo dot com please?

Last year at this time there were hundreds of super hero costumes on
eBay, from the officially licensed to the horribly home-made; the
Guardian costume above is from one of the groups in China that made a
lot of them that were based on comic characters but given semi-generic
names: Canadian Super Hero (the above), Green Super Hero (Green
 Lantern), etc.

This year there are only a few (relatively speaking), and most of them are
of the licensed variety or completely generic (Sexy Super Hero, Beer Super
Hero); I can't find any from the above costume maker.

(A co-worker with a major jones for Aquaman bought an Aquaman suit
from one of these Chinese manufacturers, after I pointed him in the right
direction. He said it was very well made, but sized wrong so that it was
 just a little snug.)
(And fortunately he isn't working with me any more, or I would have to
see him dressed in it for Halloween here in the office.)

Thanks, Gerry!  I don't think I'm ready to have a costume made for me.  The last thing I'm ready for is being measured for a skintight suit :^)

 | While this piece is not new to me, I have never posted it on the website before. I did just add it to my comic art fans gallery. Since it's a JB page, I figure you guys might be interested. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=313038&am p;GSub=42857 |
