Bill, you remember right. My husband was a physique competitor and was pretty serious about it. I've gotten more into mobility training as I've gotten older -- I ride my bike (still a bike commuter here in DC) and I do a whole lot of Animal Flow. AF is a quadrupedal movement system using the ground and bodyweight for strength and flexibility training.

For a 62-year old, I'm holding together.

Thanks Tom, my memory serves me well! I'm pretty fit for 62
due to my job, but got arthritis in my hands and feet which
is a bitch.

Fairly lucky on the arthritis front, but crap for teeth. Had full upper dental implants a couple of years ago, which I love... now that the healing's over.

Not in the best shape to begin with, as I have gotten deeper and deeper into (let’s face it) old age, I have found myself ticking off a longer and longer list of ailments. No sign of arthritis yet, but who knows?

Stay strong, Tom!

Lousy bodies not able to cope with a little aging! Don't our cells completely renew every decade or so? I don't even want to be "mint" -- I'll settle for "Dog-eared but readable."

I smashed the living hell out of my shin over two months ago -- no bones broken, but ripped up flesh, and the freakin' wound is still healing. I feel like I could've shaken this off in my 20s in a couple of days. Grumble!

If I could give one piece of advise to my younger self, it's to take care of my frickin' knees.

And happy anniversary, Tom!
