Ryan, saw your earlier picture on page 169 of this thread of your work in progress on the Master, looks like your getting the shape of his headpiece down pat.
I also like your version of Diamond Lil on page 170. You managed to capture her hair really well. I did a version also using Starfire, but added SuperSculpey on top of Starfire's hair instead of removing it, so it looks pretty poofy, and is a little long. I may try again.

Is it just me, or are the marvel chess pieces a larger scale than the original Marvel Eaglemoss line?
For the DC chess pieces, I found the pawns at least are the right scale, but the Marvel chess pieces that I saw displayed at my LCS were practically a head taller.
So I am willing to pick up the DC chess pawns so far. The only Marvel pawn I like so far is the Absorbing Man. He has a more dynamic pose that works, and I can easily see him being bigger than the average person.
Have people seen any Marvel chess figures whose scale would fit well with the older stuff?

David,  The DC & Marvel Chess pieces are the same size as the original non-chess release. Maybe you saw the Marvel Fact File pieces which are a head taller.

Are the Chess pieces as useful for customizing? Bullseye may have some use.

Poor attempts at improving on the classic costumes claims another victim with a terrible Scarlet Witch. And, like several recent Marvel & DC pieces, the costume has already been changed in the comics.
