Dave, the Gibbons is going on the wall. The Nomad/Cap page by Zeck is pretty sweet. Thanks, Joe.

Thanks Paul! It's an 80's day, with 80's art... I watched E.T. with my boy... and now I'm cranking up the Duran Duran!
Here's the other newest addition- a Golden Rocketeer:
saying "I got a golden rocketeer" somehow sounds dirty...

Chris, who's the artist on that piece (looks like it might be Tuska) and do you know where it comes from?

I don't know to be honest. I know the series it comes from is "Fightin' Marines". I don't know which issue though. I haven't had time to track down the correct issue.

Chris, I agree with Robert--it looks like George Tuska (maybe inked by Vince Colletta?). Too bad it was damaged, but in a weird way it almost adds to the war theme. A nice piece.

Joe, That would be neat if it turns out to be by Tuska & Colletta. It's weird how the damage to the page just kinda looks "right". It makes it hard to pin it down though. I'd really like to have the page & issue number.

William, have fun Albany's a great show. Some stuff came up and I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna make it out for the show. Greatest thing about that show, aside from the atmosphere and some of the deals from vendors, is hardly any lines for the artists.

That burnt Bill Pearson page somehow looks appropriate for a war comic. It certainly adds to the history of the page. That would look cool all framed up.

Thanks Lloyd! I've become very picky about buying pages after realizing that I have a stack of pages that have great art, but don't mean anything to me from a nostalgia sense. It's nice to find a page that was very affordable, and meant something to me...
cuz as you well know... these dang things keep getting more expensive! I found what would be one of the coolest ROM pages ever (to me), and it cost 4 times as much as my very very cool Rom pages that I bought 10 years ago. Hard to justify buying more! I need to sell my "meh" pages and see if they will fund some new purchases...

Lloyd's been doing a great job of picking up pages I have some connection to. We must have read the same comics growing up. Nice job.
