I wish these photos were better, but they are not. This page is from Green
Lantern #181 by Dave Gibbons. A Gibbons' GL page was my goal for the
day.   I am glad Anthony had one :-)

This is a page from Defenders #122 by Don Perlin. I got it from Anthony
too. He also gave me two signed prints. I gave the Ethan Van Sciver Green
Lantern print to Sean from the Comic Book Club. Here is the Captain
America print signed by Billy Tucci...

And of course no Comic Art Con would be complete without another John
Byrne page from the Warden. Here is another Wonder Woman page for the
girls...

I'm super jealous of all the Perez art people have been landing. If I'm in the country in May I'm going to head over to the Motor City con where George is supposed to be making an appearance. I really want to land some Perez art in the worst way.

Cincy Expo was a lot of fun.  I met Paul and Joe in the Swamp Thing line and chatting with them definitely made the line move quicker.  Hope you guys make it to Heroes Con someday.

Just order this piece, another DAN DARE for my collection.

Curious bit of backstory on this one. It is actually the bottom half of two pages, stitched together across the center line. It was thus reformatted to be used in one of the EAGLE Annuals, and, as was the habit, of course it was the original art that was cut up and pasted onto a board.

This meant actually trimming some of the panels.

Since most of you will not be familiar with the story this art is from, let me mention that the bearded gentleman in the purple jacket and kilt, grabbing the microphone in the second panel, has the memorable name of "Galileo McHoo"!
