Recent commission I had done by artist Jeff Oleson. An 11x17 with two of my favorite characters squaring off.

Home from the second of back-to-back con weekends here in the buckeye state!

I committed the first two hours of my con weekend Friday night to waiting in Alan Davis' line.  Came away with this baby:

Thanks guys!  I really like the smirk he gave Batman.  Sets it apart from other Batman sketches I've seen him do.

Here's another:

Dan Parent's version of Marvel Team-Up 68!  I specifically asked for Jughead.  I think it's a pretty fun piece!

Lee Weeks:

After seeing some of Weeks' commission work, most notably Jason's Juggernaut/Captain America, I knew I had to get something from him when he came to Ohio.  He did not disappoint! Wow!

One more to share, the very talented and deserving of more recognition Cory Hamscher:

Yep, that's Darkseid taking on Supreme!  Very happy with this one!  I will look to get more from Mr. Hamscher!

That Lee Weeks piece is spectacular, Joe!  I really like it.  Weeks has a Gene Colan-level mastery of shadow and light.

Do you know how to get in touch with Lee Weeks, Joe?  I met him last year at NYCC and he was a really nice guy (who kept me entertained with card tricks).  I e-mailed him though the Comic Art fans page, but I have not gotten a response.  I want to get his commission rates and find out if there is a price difference for pieces done before the NY convention to pieces done during the convention.  Thanks for any help or contact information you can provide, Joe.
