••

Typically superlative work from Alan, but it depresses the hell out of me that THAT'S what Kitty looks like these days.

I had to choose between the Ohio ComiConn (Where George Perez was) and Wizard Con Ohio where Alan Davis & Humberto Ramos was.

Needless to say, it was an incredibly difficult decision to make, but since George had pre-convention commissions for me, I ultimately had to err on the side of Perez.

Here's hoping I will see Alan & Humerto at another convention soon.
(Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!)

That was the fantastic (and worthy of recognition) Cincinnati Comic Expo!

I thought it might be fun to film my latest package from Jim Warden. You guys know what is in there, but here is the "opening" for all to see. And yes, I made a little mistake describing the Spider-Man commission, but it was all one take.

Opening a JB Commission

Nice video and artwork, Eric.  I am surprised you don't have them framed already.

Can you elaborate about the board being different?

Wilson, the bristol sheets of my first 4 commissions seems a bit heavier than "regular" comic boards. But that could just be due to the size. The Mysterio commission is thicker and a heavier weight of bristol so that it is very stiff. The board on the latest commission is much stronger as a result.

Bill, knowing what is in there is nice, but seeing it in person for the first time is such a rush. I don't think the video really captures what I was feeling, but that is only because there isn't anyone in the family to share that giddy feeling over something like this. In a room from of JBFers, it would sound like we were a team of cheer leaders that just won a national competition. =)

Nice page Lloyd Interesting timing. I've been keeping an eye for a Pollard page from that era over the past few months myself.
