A few months after I sent in the request, I was told the commission could not be completed.

••

Nathan had asked for Gwen and MJ dancing. I saw Romita in my head. Thought it would be a lot of fun. But, when it came to the actual drawing, I discovered I am NOT Romita. (Well, not really "discovered". Kinda knew it all along, but hope springs eternal.)

Long story short, I could not find dancing poses -- even with photo ref -- that didn't look like the ladies were having epileptic fits.

Love Romita's dancing ladies. Do not blame you one jot for exercising the greater part of valour in this circumstance.

Nice video upthread, Eric -- all the commissions look even more fantastic filmed like that, showing the scale. The Mysterio one is so much bigger than I had it in my mind. Looks good.

Thanks for the kind words, guys!

I've been looking for a DC Comics Nestor Redondo page for a while now, and when I saw this one it was love at first sight. Redondo is one of those artists that sometimes get overlooked unfortunately, but MAN those inks are gorgeous!

Coming soon: Aparo and Dillin pages

Lloyd strikes again!

Here I am spending my money on trips around the world to Greece and Turkey, buying Turkish carpet, expanding my cultural awareness, and Lloyd here is spending his money on on comic art. I need to get my priorities straight!
