Now, there´s a character I will always have a fondness for! That Titans series was really something!

You are on a roll, Ari! Picking up stuff that´s really enviable!

My time at NYCC 2012 was filled with an unmentionable amount of awesome moments.... I've saved the following two pieces of art for last, since they topped all other experiences as far as both stunning work and moments I valued the most!

I asked Eddy Barrows for a con commission to be completed during moments when he had time throughout the weekend. The detail and care he put into this truely touched me and the skill of his work always amazes..... somehow Marvel needs to get ahold of this man.

I am also regularly amazed at the fact that Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez'
character surpasses his skills as an artist. No easy feat. When I
received this piece, I got that prickly goosebump feeling. Not only is
the set-up to this historic page stunning, but the original artwork
allows viewers to see a white-out touch-up that covers up an ashtray
on the bar. Whether this was the beginning of DC becoming politically
correct or done for historical accuracy, I'm not certain. What I do know
is that I adore this page and the personal history behind it.

Fred, you have absolutely OWNED this thread lately, and all of it has been incredible.  I haven't even commented since I can't keep coming up with all the superlatives needed.  I can't even believe you got all of that in one weekend.  Everything has been fantastic, but that Garcia Lopez splash is just stunning.
