Jeremy Bastian is not only an incredibly gifted and unique artist, but he is a true gentleman to speak with. I find myself smiling every time I have the pleasure of seeing him. I ran into him at the NYCC 2011 and, though he didn't have a table set up, agreed to accept a commission and mailed it to me. The result is this beautifully rendered Black Cat piece, complete with the typical (If the descriptor can ever truely be used in regards to his work) Bastian detail and extra touches. As with all of his artwork, the scan truely doesn't do it justice and much of the fine linework is lost.
