I have one recent commission in hand I haven't been able to scan yet so to make up for it here's a commission I have a scan of but haven't received yet. :-)

Manhunter, by John K Snyder III

Oddly appropriate paper given the season... :-)

That's awesome, Dave!  Love the angular look to it and especially like the use/technique with the whites.

  Thanks, Nathan & Michael.
That cover had been rattling around in my head for awhile.
Finally had the extra money and decided to ask Fred if he'd do
it.
Everybody has had some amazing commissions from JB and
others this year. Congrats to everybody.

My first new art of 2012. I set this up with John K. Snyder III at Baltimore. I asked for Howard the Duck. John decided to add Bev (which I knew prior to seeing the art). Due to Facebook, John knows I'm a ska fan and added that as the theme (which was a surprise). I love this piece.

Heh.  I asked for the Manhunter at Baltimore, myself.  Guess he was in a catching up on commissions kinda mood...

Anyway, moving on.  Gary Barker facilitating my Golden Age bias with a pic of GA Green Lantern vs. various SA Green Lantern baddies:

(Goldface, Black Hand, Sinestro and Invisible Destroyer, btw.)
