Wow Joe - what a cool Frenz piece. He was really channeling the Gene Colan on this one, which I don't think I've really seen out of Ron before.

Yeah, that could be. At least on the D'Spayre figure. Spider-Girl is all Frenz and I like how it's a mirror image of the Spider-Man pose from JB's original. When I first saw it I immediately thought "Don Perlin" with his take on Man-Thing.

William-- Considering the timing of this piece and the obvious chest emblem/hair style here, I'd say there's a chance you got a piece of "Man of Steel" development art as a bonus. It might be worth asking if the timing is right or if JB remembers these sketches from his time hunting for the proper new Krypton look?
Anyway, congratulations on a great page!
